Walter Lilly & Size Group Combine To Create High Quality Group
Walter Lilly & Co Limited, a specialist main contractor operating in the high-end residential, landmark and heritage, science and FM sectors, is delighted to announce that it has joined forces with fellow specialist, Size Group, to form a group of complementary companies, focussed on delivering the highest quality construction, specialist crafts and maintenance services, across multiple niche sectors.
Established in 1924 and celebrating its centenary year, Walter Lilly was previously a subsidiary of Renew Holdings plc (AIM: RNWH), a leading multidisciplinary engineering services group. Renew is focussed on providing essential engineering services to maintain and renew critical infrastructure networks, and as such Walter Lilly was no longer a natural fit within that business.
Size Group provides high quality construction, specialist crafts and maintenance services to private clients with luxury residences in London and the English countryside.
Established in 2009, the firm currently consists of two main construction businesses, focussing on London Homes and Country Houses, along with a separate structures business, which carries out some of the most complex basements and structural works, alongside specialist craft businesses offering bespoke joinery, furniture, decorations, and flooring. A bespoke maintenance business also complements the group offering, providing planned and reactive property care services to private clients in London and the home counties. Walter Lilly and Size Group will continue to operate independently, led by their own leadership teams, under the common ownership of a new parent company, Size Holdings. Staff at each firm will now benefit from increased access to specialist knowledge, experience and career opportunities within the larger group, while clients and consultants will continue to receive the same personal service they are used to from both companies.
