We Have Earnt Our EcoVadis Bronze Medal
Walter Lilly is proud to share that after completing our first ever EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment, our efforts have been recognised with a Bronze Medal, placing us in the 70th percentile of companies rated in the past year!
EcoVadis is a globally trusted and respected rating platform that has evaluated the sustainability credentials of over 150,000 businesses since its establishment. Promoting full transparency and highlighting areas for continued improvement, this recognition not only demonstrates our commitment to sustainable business practices, but also provides valuable insights to inform our future strategy and effectively manage sustainability risks through data-driven reporting.
Looking ahead to 2025, Walter Lilly’s Social Value and Sustainability team will focus on actioning the improvements identified within the assessment, striving for continuous improvement on our sites. In the meantime, we can now offer our clients a clear, tangible scorecard specific to our Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, evidencing how we build long-term, sustainable relationships with our supply chain partners whilst complying with associated legislative and regulatory requirements.
This EcoVadis accreditation marks an important milestone for us, reflecting the growing emphasis on sustainability in relation to our current clients, upcoming opportunities, and the future of the construction industry as a whole.
