Significant milestone achieved at our London Institute of Medical Sciences project

It has been a momentous week for the team at our London Institute of Medical Sciences project, with end users taking partial possession of the building on Monday.

The team have been working tirelessly in preparation for the Client to take occupation of levels 2 to 6, and at the end of last week they celebrated with sign off from the Building Control Officer.

The end users now have full access and use of their laboratories within levels 2 to 6, including break out and write up spaces. In the coming weeks the Café area on level 7 will also be ready for handover for their use. A decanting schedule is now in place for the next eight weeks for individual area handover and full occupation.

Congratulations to everyone involved, from our project team, the design team, specialist consultants and our subcontractors on your outstanding effort in achieving this significant milestone for the Medical Research Council and Imperial College London.
