Our Facilities Management Department Turns Two

We are delighted to be celebrating the second anniversary of our Facilities Management department

It has been an exciting 24 months growing the division and expanding the team to meet the demands of secured projects across our three specialist sectors: High Quality Residential, Science & Higher Education, and Landmark & Heritage.

Our portfolio of serviced buildings has shown a steady increase due to the successful completion of our building projects, which allows us to smoothly transition from construction into facilities management (FM). Equally, we have secured several new FM contracts following recommendations from our professional consultant network which we are very grateful for.

Where are we currently working?

We are currently working in Chelsea, Mayfair, Belgravia, Bloomsbury and Buckinghamshire, servicing and maintaining extremely high-quality private homes. Following the completion of Walter Lilly’s flagship science project at the end of 2022 in White City, we were delighted to be awarded the FM contract for this state-of-the-art science research facility and have deployed a full-time service team on site.

The introduction of new systems

To ensure the optimum efficiency and effectiveness of our FM department, we recently introduced Joblogic, a leading provider of facilities management software that offers an advanced cloud-based centralised solution for asset register, client communication and job tracking.

MEET THE TEAM

Phil Groves – FM Director
Phil is a long serving employee of Walter Lilly so understands the company ethics and the need for perfection. Phil is very proud of his team and how far the department has grown in the past two years.

Joe Bates – Senior Facilities Manager
Joe joined us at the beginning of our FM journey and brought a wealth of experience which proved invaluable when setting up the department. His knowledge of the industry, along with his positive, professional manner makes Joe a perfect fit for Walter Lilly.

Dave Humphrey – Facilities Manager
Dave is a very experienced and qualified mechanical engineer who adds technical strength to our FM team. There really isn’t anything he hasn’t seen or dealt with before when servicing buildings.

Hannelie Liebenberg – FM Commercial Lead
Hannelie takes responsibility for all commercial aspects of the department. Her organisational skills, professional attitude and polite nature ensures she’s well regarded by all our clients.

Georgina Peech – FM Business Development Manager
Georgina brings a wealth of industry knowledge and has been instrumental in creating the FM business winning work strategy and continues to provide opportunities from her extensive client contacts list.

Charlotte House – FM Administrator
Charlotte is responsible for the administration of all our contracts and has been instrumental in setting up and managing our bespoke FM system software.

Aseah Peart & Patrick Mordi – Help Desk Administrators
Aseah and Patrick are working as part of our on site estates team for our large science building contract. They manage all the critical PPM activities associated with a complex science research facility.

Rhys Baldwin – Electrical Engineer
Rhys and his team provide electrical installation and electrical testing support to the FM team, his can do attitude and electrical knowledge adds a great in-house service to the FM team.

Carlos DaSilva – Working Supervisor
Carlos is our department handyman and can turn his hand to anything. He is extremely tidy in his work, conscientious and has an eye for perfection.
