Landmark Projects
Walter Lilly has worked on numerous landmark projects such as the renovation of Southwark Cathedral; the Palace of Westminster Courtyards; the Newport Street Gallery; and the 7 July Memorial in Hyde Park to the victims of the July 2005 London bombings. Whether we are converting and refurbishing a Grade II listed church; restoring a Grade I listed conservatory at Chiswick House; or refurbishing London's famous Café Royal; we are trusted to manage the projects with the utmost level of respect to the surroundings, and the wishes of the important parties involved (for example, English Heritage, the Crown Estate, or the representatives of the Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew). Viewed as a safe and trusted pair of hands, we have a huge amount of pride in playing a part in the history and future of the nation's important landmark buildings and monuments. Science & Education
In 1976 Walter Lilly began a relationship with GSK, that has evolved into us becoming one of the key players in this sector when it comes to constructing, renovating and refurbishing science and educational facilities. Over the years we have worked on a large number of projects ranging from laboratory builds and refurbishments for key pharmaceutical companies to some of the nation's most prestigious universities, including the University of Oxford and Imperial College. We have built chemistry and biology laboratories for Eli Lilly; virology containment and other laboratory facilities for DEFRA; a Learning Resource Centre and a Food Store facility for Kingston University; and a Biosciences Innovation Centre for Queen Mary and Westfield College.
