This single stage, competitively tendered contract involved the full refurbishment of a single private residence. The scope of works featured large areas of demolition including the demolition and reconstruction of the orangery and adjacent garage, full mechanical and electrical services, audio visual services, high quality fitting out and landscaping works.
In order to carry out the demolition, significant temporary works were installed to the retained facades and party walls. Whilst the general shape of the new building was not significantly different from the existing, it was rebuilt with new floors, room layouts and roofs.
The residence received bespoke finishes of a very high standard, new stone and timber staircases and a new larger conservatory replaced the existing in the same location – this too was finished to a very high standard.
