Kingston University, Foodstore Facility
Procured on a JCT 2011 Intermediate Contract with Contractor’s Design, the refurbishment and alterations to the Foodstore Facility at the Kingston Hill Campus is Walter Lilly’s fourth project carried out for Kingston University.
This project involved the refurbishment and alterations of the existing space within the ground floor forming part of Kenry House and included the formation of a new feature Ecophon baffle ceiling and new servery equipment. The remainder of the building remained in operation throughout the works where Walter Lilly ensured continued access to and within the building was safely maintained.
Kingston University students undertook exams during the construction period, so Walter Lilly took all reasonable measures to avoid disruption and inconvenience to the neighbouring buildings.
