This project involved the refurbishment of a four storey and lower ground floor terraced property situated in south west London. The ground and lower ground floor have been altered to allow the addition of a two storey conservatory and, with the inclusion of structural steel box framing and partial demolition of the rear closet wing, provides for an open plan family and breakfast room.
The upper floors are refurbished and finished to a high quality and consisted of oak flooring, re-plastered walls, new ceilings and new fibrous cornices including complete redecoration. Mezzanine levels on the ground, first and second floor are fitted out with joinery forming a library, study and dressing room. The third floor is a media room. The bedrooms are all fitted out with high quality bespoke joinery units.
Externally the rear garden has been lowered, involving underpinning to the rear garden boundary walls. Reinforced concrete planting areas created raised planting beds. The rear wall facing the property has a clad ‘living wall’. The reinforced concrete staircase from the family room to the garden is clad in Yorkstone paving.
