Current single stage design and build refurbishment scheme to demolish the existing roof followed by the addition of an extra storey to form a six storey building.

Works also include the alteration of the building to provide new academic facilities.

Teaching space provided will include specialist audiometric booths, lecture areas, speech labs, seminar and meeting rooms, two lecture theatres, offices, a library and a glazed atrium to provide break out space.

The new building will have a floor area of 3,100m².
