Imperial College London
Walter Lilly’s second project for Imperial College and the first carried out under the College’s Second Generation Framework Agreement.
This two stage Design & Build negotiated project involves the shell and core fitting out of part of the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors of the East Wing laboratories of the Burlington Danes building on the Hammersmith Campus. A mix of laboratories, write up space and offices will be provided. External service risers installed as part of the base build project provide all the necessary services to the floors with the exception of some fume extracts that still have to be installed. The building is a collaboration between GlaxoSmithKline, Imperial College and the Medical Research Council, to provide a centre of excellence for clinical imaging. The project will have a long term research focus on cancer, stroke, neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis and psychiatric diseases.
