The anti-infective drug discovery company Arrow Therapeutics has moved into new laboratories in Central London. Situated in Borough, just south of London Bridge and close to the capital's financial centre, the Tate Modern art gallery and Guy's hospital, Arrow's new home includes state of the art chemistry, molecular biology and microbiology facilities rivalling those of the big pharmaceutical companies.
Britannia House is a modern building of 30 thousand square feet that has been completely refurbished to accomodate Arrow's anti-infective drug discovery efforts.
The two stage Design & Build project required an office block to be converted to accommodate high quality laboratories and offices.
The construction of the service ducts involved innovative use of carbon-fibre strips to replace conventional steel supports.
