Secured under a two-stage tender, Walter Lilly have commenced the alteration, restoration and refurbishment of this major Grade II* Listed private residence in the heart of the Mayfair Conservation Area.

New interiors for the principle rooms include the re-creation of the former ballroom and gallery, installation of decorative timber panelling and fibrous plaster, new timber doors and extensive bespoke joinery.  Extensive M&E services will be added and the passenger lifts overhauled and re-comissioned.  A new glazed chair lift will be installed.

A new substation is to be constructed and the external facade restored and re-decorated along with various roof works.  Every effort will be made to maintain the integrity of the fabric, both internally and externally to preserve the historic nature of the building.

Due to its nature extensive liaison with English Heritage and the Local Authority Conservation Officer and meticulous attention to detail is required.

Mock ups will be prepared to fully define and record the required quality for all areas of work associated with this project.
