Grosvenor Framework Update

The first of the projects undertaken as part of our Framework with Grosvenor has been completed to a high standard adn has achieved an EcoHomes excellent rating.
It included the conversion and extension of an existing two storey garage and flats into a high quality three storey, four bedroom dwelling. An additional floor with slated and mansard roof was added and the facades cleaned and restored.
The existing central and external lightwell became part of the internal space by installing additional flooring and a large glazed rooflight making it a central feature of the house. It feeds light into the adjoining rooms by way of circular windows cut into the eixisting brickwork.
In order to achieve an excellent Eco-Homes rating rainwater harvesting facilities were provided, aquapave SUDs surface water system was installed to the rear of the property. All the timber was sourced from sustainable PEFC sources and high end energy efficient white goods were provided to the kitchen.
Restricted flow shower heads in the bathrooms, energy efficient general lighting with daylight sensors externally and the energy used during construction being monitored.
