Eisai Contract Award
Walter Lilly has been awarded a two stage fitting out project for a new client, Japanese pharmaceutical company, Eisai, in Hatfield. The company now manufactures drugs for the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease, Chronic Pain, Epilepsy and Gastro-Intestinal Disorders. It has moved some of its operations to the UK and the project is for the fitting out of a new building, including Category II Laboratories. The project, valued at £12.4 million, is due to be completed to a tight 41 week programme, which is keeping the site team on their toes! GlaxoSmithKline, with whom we have worked for almost 20 years are amongst our repeat business pharmaceutical clients, along with Pfizer, Sanofi-Aventis and GE Healthcare.
Due to our long engagement in this specialist sector, we are able to resource these projects with an experienced and consolidated team.
We hope that this will be the first of many projects for Eisai.
