DEFRA Project Award
DEFRA, a repeat business client, has awarded a further project to Walter Lilly.
This two storey sustainable stores building will provide state of the art storage and offices facilities as part of the redevelopment of the VLA Weybridge site.
The construction will take place on a busy occupied site, where Walter Lilly is already a Framework Contractor.
In line with the Government’s Initiatives Achieving Sustainability in Construction Procurement and Making Biodiversity Happen Across Government, the project is expected to achieve high BREEAM scores.Walter Lilly will be working with Architon LLP, TP Engineering Services and Curtins Consulting on this two stage design and build project.
Schofield Lothian will be acting as Environmental and Sustainability Consultants.
Construction commenced in November 2007.
