Walter Lilly has been appointed as the Main Contractor for the construction of the permenant memorial to the victims of the 7th July London bombings, which will be sited in Hyde Park.  Norton Cast Products will produce the 52 stelae which make up the memorial.

The Memorial was designed by Architects Carmody Groake in close collaboration with members of the bereaved families, with the project being managed by The Royal Parks on behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Works will start on site in the Spring and will be completed by the 7th July 2009.
